owner v. memeber
I was touched by one thought of one preacher from USA named Perry Noble in the resent time. They are changing totally the concept of membership in their church because of that thought. The do not have members any more, they have owners.
The members have rights but the owners have responsibility. It is very revolutionary and I really like it, because I think so that bigger things start happen when we start to realize more about our responsibility for the church we are going to. Most of the time we have our responsibility in the place were we have our heart and that is important…
majitel vs. člen
V poslední době mě nadchla myšlenka jednoho amerického kazatele jménem Perry Noble. Totálně kvůli ní mění koncepci členství ve svém sboru / kostele. Už defacto nemají členy, ale mají majitele.
Členové totiž mají práva, ale majitelé mají zodpovědnost. Je to velice revoluční věc, ale mě se to líbí, také si myslím, že pokud budeme vnímat větší zodpovědnost za sbor, kam chodíme, tak se začnou dít větší věci. Většinou totiž tam, kde máme zodpovědnost, máme i srdce a to je důležité…

Žijeme v době, kdy je pro mnohé lidi vcelku normální plýtvat. Někde to berou ale i tak, že to je potřebné a že to vlastně povzbuzuje ekonomiku, protože to vede k vyšší spotřebě, která se projeví tím, že ekonomika bude růst.
Mě osobně se plýtvání (jakékoliv) nelíbí a už vůbec ne, pokud se jedná o plýtvání veřejnými prostředky. Jak to předvádí např. v současnosti brněnský magistrát. Continue Reading…

Velice mě oslovilo jedno krátké vyučování (měl ho Miro Toth - teď z Nitry) na velice známý text ze Skutků o tom, jak je Pavel a Sílas ve vězení. I když je situace těžká až kritická, tak se jí nepoddávají. Začnou spolu chválit Boha uprostřed noci a pak se začnou dít věci…
Jednoduchý výklad, ale mě to velice oslovilo a povzbudilo tak, že jsem to použil a každou neděli před tím, než jsme společně zpívali a tím vzdali chválu Bohu v rámci našich bohoslužeb, jsem s jedním z těch faktů seznámil náš sbor/kostel a myslím, že se to setkalo s úspěchem :-) Continue Reading…
Everybody likes to get inspiration from something or somebody, it’s part of our life. Steven got his one today and he played his role of baby carrier. I guess he did great job, though I would not like to be the horse which he carried :-) In real I guess that the horse wouldn’t survive, but luckily the horse has stamina and has been rolling with Steven almost since he was born…

Nevím, jestli stále platí dávné heslo “chléb a hry”, které si oblíbili staří Římané a používali ho doslova, když chtěli utišit nepokoje, které se Římem čas od času šířily mezi otroky a chudinou.
